It could have been for cats since I am the proud owner of two beautiful and playful kittens, but conundrum has always fascinated me.
It is almost onomatopoeic, with its rhythm that reminds of the convoluted circles the mind designs and the harsh sound of ‘-drum’ mirroring the challenges to solve the enigma.
It is not the spinning wheel of a creativity spur; a conundrum demands you to think, to reflect, to decant the information before processing it.
At times, it’s a bumpy, tortuous road, all turns and crossroads and one-ways and unpaved at length; some other times is a spiral dangerously bordering the abyss of the mind; now and then, it’s unsolvable. But it is always, inevitably, one of the highest intellectual games.
